DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS APRIL 29. IF YOU ARE SUBMITTING YOUR COMPLETE REGISTRATION FORM AFTER THIS DAY YOUR PARTICIPATION WILL NOT BE CONFIRMED AUTOMATICALLY. INSTEAD YOU WILL BE PUT ON WAITLIST.

WE WILL GET BACK TO UNTIL MAY 18 TO INFORM YOU WHETHER YOUR REGISTRATION WAS ACCEPTED OR NOT.

Foreign guests from many countries need visas for entry into Hungary. To obtain a visa, an official letter of invitation needs to be issued by the Hungarian Ministry of Interior.

The application procedure with the Hungarian Ministry of Interior is very strict and can take up to 8 weeks.

We will not be able to take responsibility for the late issue of invitation letters and visas if your data has not been provided by the conference registration deadline of 29th April 2005.

Ms. Zsuzsa Harsanyi at the Open Society Institute- Budapest is responsible for arranging official letters of invitation and she will be assisting conference participants who require visas. (If you have completed the VISA APPLICATION section of the registration form, then your information will be automatically forwarded to Ms. Harsanyi for processing.)

Please make sure to get in contact with your local Hungarian Embassy to obtain information about what other documentation (in addition to the official letter of invitation) you will need to supply them with.
